Here you'll find photos of Discovery kids having fun learning about the scriptures. These projects are from Discover the Book of Mormon and Discover the Old Testament. Send us your project photos too!
Below: Leah, age 5, draws the righteous and wicked spirits in the spirit world after studying the Plan of Salvation lesson in Unit 2 of Discover the Old Testament.
Below: Leah's sister Abi, age 11, uses torn construction paper to make a mosaic of the Earth.
Below: Leah, age 5, shows off her gingerbread cookies. While studying about the creation in Discover the Old Testament, Leah learned that all God's children are unique. She and her sister and brothers made gingerbread kids to remind them that we are all made in God's image, but we are all unique. Here's a sneak peek at her recipe: Gingerbread Kid Recipe.

Below: Abi, age 10, displays her salt dough map of Israel. While studying unit 2 of Discover the Old Testament, Abi learned that Abraham fled into Egypt because of a famine in Canaan. Later he and his family returned the promised land.

Below: Abi, age 12, works on a "stained glass picture" after reading about cathedrals in medieval Europe. She has been studying Acts of the Apostles and learning what happened to Jesus' Church after the Apostles died.

Below: After completing the "stained glass picture drawing," Abi rubbed oil on the back of her paper to make the paper appear translucent.
