The Discover the Scriptures program systematically introduces children to the beautiful stories of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and modern Church HIstory. These materials have been developed by professional educators for children who are just beginning to read as well as those who are confident reading on their own. Families can also use this program with younger children as a resource for family scripture study or Family Home Evening. Older children can work independently through the program.
The goals of the Discover the Scriptures products are twofold. First is an increased familiarity with the stories of the Bible and Book of Mormon and a greater ability to approach reading and studying them alone. Children will have a positive experience with the scriptures.
The second objective is educational. As children work through the materials in this program, they will be practicing skills that will help them in a variety of academic ways:
